The iconic New-England-based dining brand debuts a newly retractable roof terrace overlooking the Boston Harbor for scenic dining.
BOSTON, MASS. – (April 26, 2024) – Legal Sea Foods, New England’s legendary dining brand, is thrilled to reveal the highly-anticipated grand reopening of the third-floor of its flagship restaurant, Legal Sea Foods Harborside, located in Boston’s Seaport District. The newly transformed rooftop deck and bar boasts jaw-dropping 180-degree views of Boston Harbor through floor-to-ceiling windows that fully retract, allowing harbor breezes to flow through the stunning space.
The freshly transformed 225-seat rooftop features pops of oceanic blue and silver, modern brass accents, and nautical flair throughout its sleek, airy interior. The space seamlessly flows into two harbor-facing outdoor decks with additional seating. Sixteen high-top tables, lush greenery, and cozy lounge seating beckon guests outside to soak up golden-hour views.

The new roof deck lounge and bar features a separate menu boasting expanded sushi offerings, raw bar and more. A curated menu of specialty cocktails has been developed to complement its picturesque surroundings. For guests seeking the comfort of Legal’s signature dishes, the restaurant also offers its menu of favorites like the creamy, award-winning New England Clam Chowder and the buttery, Half-Pound Maine Lobster Roll overflowing with tender lobster. From decadent new dishes to timeless favorites, guests are guaranteed a memorable and pleasant experience.
The new rooftop deck will make its official debut during a festive launch party on Saturday, May 4 at 7 p.m. The celebration will include live DJ, a variety of creative cocktails, signature bites and stunning sunset views. Tickets are limited and available on OpenTable.
